Q- What is included in this course?
A- In this course you will receive over 10 hours of exclusive video content from renowned Master of Wine, Michael Palij, over 40 different samples of wine, curated by Michael to taste along. Access to the Avino learning quizzes and a plethora of wine knowledge.
Q- What can I expect when undertaking this course?
A- This course is designed to take you through the basics of wine, classic grapes and regions of the world. Although it is based on traditional classroom learning, you can learn at your own pace.
Q- What is expected of me when undertaking this course?
A- At the end of each lecture there is a quiz based on learning from the video, to unlock the next video. A minimum of 70% is required to pass the course.
Q- What do I gain upon completion?
A- This course will give you a comprehensive overview of the world of wine and a good foundation knowledge to pursue further education. You will also receive a downloadable certificate to prove completion of the course.
Q- Do I need additional materials?
A-No, but we do recommend bundling the course with the beginners bundle, this allows you to taste wine in the same way which Michael does. In the bundle you will also receive the Wine Folly guide, a tasting mat, 6 ISO tasting glasses and a flavour wheel.
Q- How long will the course take?
A- This is completely dependent on you and your style of learning. Samples are sent in batches of three lectures at a time, to ensure freshness of the samples. If you want to take a break, just let us know and we can pause these for you.
Week 1
After purchasing the ppack you will receive a welcome message from your course supervisor.
In the first week you will receive 3 sample packs containing the wine samples for lectures 1,2,3. You will also receive access to lecture 1, allowing you to access the subsequent lessons after
Week 3
Your course supervisor will check in with you to see how you are getting on. You can contact the supervisor at any time whilst you are enrolled in the course with any questions you may have.
You will also receive your samples for lectures 4,5, and 6 at this time as well.
Week 5
Approaching your last few lectures, this week you will receive the last three lecture samples.
Remember, your course supervisor is on hand to answer any questions which you may have about wine.
